During my final semester at University of Tampa, I designed a digital pet app with a specified user persona. The persona is a seventy-five year old grandparent.
Brand Story
Janice Byars, a veterinarian, and loving grandmother began quarantining with her daughter and two grandchildren in March of 2020. Because of the pandemic, Janice understood how hard it was to be isolated from loved ones and stay motivated during quarantine. With the help of her family, Janice began the creation of Reczy. The digital pet app would bring people back together and offer companionship. In one year, Janice established a community for individuals to reconnect with themselves and others.

The user chooses an animal then selects an action. The "challenge" action is chosen, and the user decides which friend they want to challenge. The user chooses an opponent and the challenge begins. The challengers have twenty-four hours to gain steps. The "results" page announces the winner of the challenge and offers the opportunity to challenge the same opponent.
